  • The Blacksmith - Tribute to Gilbert Hart
    I made this quilt in 2011. It shows my Great Grandfather at his work in the blacksmith shop. It was shown at Houston in 2012 and won 2nd place in Art People Portraits and Figures. It was also a finalist in the Lancaster AQS show in 2014. In 2011 it won Best of Show at the Marlborough quilt show, and was placed 1st in innovative art quilts
  • 1938
    This quilt features my Grand Mother Great Aunt and Father (aged 4 ) shopping in Wellington New Zealand in August 1938. the quilt was a finalist at Houston Quilts a world of Beauty in 2013 , and Road to California in 2014 where is won 1st place in Art human image. It was also a finalist in the AQS Charlotte show in 2014.

  • I want to ride my bicycle
    This quilt was inspired by a vintage bicycle poster from the early 1900's. It was a finalist at Houston quilts a world of beauty 2014, and Road to California in 2015.
  • Diamonds
    This quilt was made late in 2014 on commission for the couples diamond wedding anniversary. This quilt is a 2015 Houston IQA finalist.
  • Feeling Groovy
    This quilt features my niece, and was a chance to experiment with colour. I was a finalist in Houston in 2013 and Road to California in 2014. I have a class available in this multi colour technique. Please see the workshops page.
